Gravenstein Apple Butter


Our tasty Gravenstein Apple Butter can be eaten in a myriad of ways:

·       Like regular butter, on biscuits or toast in the morning
·       With peanut butter, for lunch
·       As a glaze for roasted pork
·       As a condiment for spiced ham at Christmas
·       Instead of cranberry sauce in your Thanksgiving leftover sandwich
·       In a delicious twist on a grilled cheese sandwich


Grilled Brie and mo foods Apple Butter Sandwich

Makes 2 sandwiches

4 slices good sourdough bread
8 slices Brie, approximately ½ pound
3 tablespoons mo foods apple butter, divided
½ cup radicchio, sliced
butter

Place a frying pan on the stove and stir the radicchio over medium heat until it is wilted. Remove from the pan.

Assemble the sandwiches, spreading half the apple butter on each sandwich, and adding half the brie and radicchio to each.  Grill on a well-buttered pan until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
