About

mo foods was conceived in an attempt to reduce waste, develop community, connect with our neighbors, and give back delicious food in support of our local food-system. As part of the Slow Food movement and the growing sharing economy of Collaborative Consumption, we value our role in combining resources, connecting our community to their local assets, and eating locally and seasonally.

Caterina Rindi and Jae Brim launched mo foods in San Francisco in the spring of 2010, presenting a new viewpoint on using the bounty of foods around us:  beyond farming, beyond foraging, we look at all the local foods available to us and think of ways to turn them into gourmet goodness. Join us, and ask yourself the question -- what's in *my* backyard?
